Welcome to Thursday Things by me, Dan McGirt, Author Extraordinaire.

Thursday Things — coming soon! — will be a little snack box of interesting, amusing, strange, absurd, and inspirational items I find online or in my offline reading or real life experiences. The sort of things I might otherwise post on social media where they can be buried by an algorithm and never been seen again.

Thursday Things will mostly be short bites. We will accentuate the positive. No politics here! (Except for dog mayors. Dog mayors are awesome.) No rants, except for comedic effect. We’re going for light, fun, uplifting.

The plan is to have a new Thursday Things waiting for you first thing every Thursday. (I foresee many late Wednesday nights in my future, but that’s my battle to fight...) I hope Thursday Things will amuse, inform, and delight you — or at least not get sent to the spam folder.
